These Terms govern access to Quelboo by customers, participating businesses, owners, staff, guardians, and participants. They also explain the different responsibilities of Quelboo and the businesses that provide services through the platform.

1. Acceptance and updates
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and QUELVARO, LLC (“Quelboo,” “Quelvaro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Quelboo mobile applications, websites, portals, app-handoff pages, or related services that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services. We may update these Terms as the Services, providers, or law change. The revised Terms will be posted with a new effective date, and additional notice or consent will be provided when required.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create or control a paid Quelboo account. By using the Services for an organization, business, dependent, or another person, you represent that you have authority to act for them and to accept these Terms on their behalf.
Children may not create independent paid accounts. A parent or legal guardian may create or manage a dependent participant profile for an eligible Session or service, subject to the business's rules and applicable law.
3. The Quelboo service
Quelboo provides technology for business discovery, customer relationships, appointments, Group Bookings, Sessions, schedules, staff management, communications, payments, refunds, gift cards, subscriptions, and related operations. Features may be introduced in phases and may depend on eligibility, platform, geography, provider availability, account status, or feature controls.
Quelboo does not provide the underlying haircut, class, training, wellness, professional, or other service offered by a participating business. Except for Quelboo platform products sold directly by Quelvaro, the participating business—not Quelvaro—is responsible for the service or business-issued product purchased from it.
4. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding passwords, authentication factors, devices, and account access. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Business accounts may require approval, business verification, payment-provider onboarding, or additional security. Some actions—including plan purchases, staff-seat changes, SMS-credit purchases, payment setup, account closure, and other financial or lifecycle decisions—may be restricted to the canonical business owner or another specifically authorized role.
Do not share an account in a way that defeats individual permissions or audit history. Actions taken through your authenticated account may be treated as authorized unless you promptly report compromise.
5. Participating businesses
Each participating business is responsible for:
The accuracy of its public profile, services, prices, staff, locations, schedules, availability, and policies.
Required licenses, permits, insurance, professional standards, accessibility, safety, and legal compliance.
Service quality, fulfillment, customer interactions, staff conduct, taxes, and records associated with the business's transactions.
Honoring confirmed bookings, lawful cancellations, refunds, business-issued gift cards, and other obligations.
Using customer and participant information only for authorized business purposes and protecting that information.
Quelboo may review, approve, suspend, restrict, or remove a business where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment-provider requirements, policy enforcement, or service integrity.
6. Appointments, Group Bookings, and Sessions
Quelboo supports different booking types with different rules:
Appointments: individual service bookings for one participant.
Group Bookings: organizer-led bookings involving invited or coordinated participants.
Sessions: business-published, capacity-limited occurrences where participants register independently.
A booking is not guaranteed until the Services show backend-confirmed status. Availability, holds, waitlists, registration cutoffs, capacity, staff assignments, and payment status may change while a transaction is pending.
The business policy and material terms shown or accepted during checkout—including price, cancellation, refund, attendance, waiver, and eligibility terms—apply to that booking and may be preserved as a historical snapshot even if the business later changes its general policy.
7. Dependents and guardians
A parent or legal guardian may register a dependent participant where the feature and business permit it. The adult payer controls the registration, payment, cancellation, and communications. The participant is the person attending and may have a separate roster, eligibility, waiver, and attendance record.
You represent that dependent information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it and accept applicable waivers or policies. A business may require proof of age, guardian authority, eligibility, or consent before participation. Do not submit unnecessary medical or highly sensitive information through ordinary notes or messages.
8. Payments and merchant roles
Payment methods and merchant roles vary by transaction type.
Physical services and business-issued products: the participating business is generally the seller and merchant responsible for the transaction. Quelboo may facilitate payment through Stripe or another authorized provider.
Quelboo platform products: Pro subscriptions, paid staff-seat tiers, SMS-credit purchases, and similar platform products may be billed through Apple, Google, or another authorized provider.
Free bookings or fully non-card-funded transactions: no card charge is created when no payment is due.
You authorize the applicable provider to charge the selected payment method for the amount disclosed. Provider terms, taxes, currency conversion, authorization holds, billing cycles, refunds, and dispute procedures may also apply.
Do not repeatedly submit a payment while it is pending. Duplicate attempts may be blocked, canceled, or refunded. Quelboo may preserve transaction and provider records needed to reconcile payments, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and maintain audit history.
9. Platform plans, paid seats, and trials
Quelboo may offer a free Starter plan, a time-limited no-card trial, and paid Pro subscription tiers that include a selected staff-seat capacity. Current prices, included features, renewal terms, and platform-specific billing details are displayed before purchase.
A backend-managed trial does not automatically become a paid subscription unless the owner separately completes a paid purchase. Paid subscriptions generally renew automatically through the billing provider until canceled. Cancellation, restoration, upgrades, downgrades, grace periods, refunds, and subscription management are governed by the provider's rules and the status verified by Quelboo's backend.
A business may have only one active recurring platform-billing provider at a time. Access on another supported platform does not create a right to purchase a duplicate subscription. Seat reductions may be delayed or blocked when active staff or pending invitations exceed the requested future capacity.
10. Gift cards, SMS credits, and promotions
Business-specific gift cards
A business-specific gift card is issued by and redeemable only with the named participating business. The issuing business is responsible for the value and fulfillment. Gift cards are not general Quelboo cash, cannot be transferred to another business, and have no cash value except where applicable law requires. Additional terms shown at purchase apply.
SMS credits
SMS credits are consumable platform units used for eligible business communications. They are not cash, gift cards, bank deposits, or transferable balances. Quantity, price, expiration, refund, revocation, and usage terms are disclosed in the Services or provider purchase flow.
Promotions and referral rewards
If offered, promotions, discounts, referral codes, and rewards are subject to campaign terms, eligibility, provider support, abuse prevention, and feature availability. Referral rewards may apply only to the base-Pro portion of a future billing cycle, may be limited to one reward per billing cycle, may exclude paid seats and SMS credits, and have no cash value. Opening or sharing a referral link does not by itself create a reward.
11. Cancellations, refunds, and disputes
Customer cancellations are governed by the policy and transaction state associated with the booking. A refund may be full, partial, unavailable, or returned through more than one original tender, depending on the policy, timing, provider, and amounts used.
When a participating business cancels a paid booking or Session, the Services may initiate required refund or value-restoration jobs. A cancellation may display while one or more refunds are still processing. Refund completion depends on provider confirmation and may take additional time to appear.
Disputes or chargebacks are handled under the payment provider's procedures. A dispute does not erase booking, attendance, payment, or audit history. Businesses remain responsible for responding to provider requests and lawful refund obligations.
12. Communications
By providing contact information and enabling related settings, you consent to receive transactional and service communications concerning accounts, bookings, payments, waitlists, reminders, security, and support. Participating businesses may communicate with customers and guardians for authorized service purposes.
Marketing communications are subject to available consent and opt-out controls. You may not be able to opt out of essential security, account, payment, or active-booking messages without closing the account or ending the relevant relationship. Carrier message and data rates may apply.
13. Content and intellectual property
The Services, including software, design, text, graphics, interfaces, logos, trademarks, documentation, and other materials provided by Quelboo, are owned by QUELVARO, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose.
You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit. You grant Quelboo a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, modify for formatting or technical compatibility, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Services.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content, including business images, participant information, messages, and reviews. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or harmful content.
14. Acceptable use
You may not:
Use the Services for fraud, harassment, discrimination, unlawful activity, or infringement.
Introduce malware, probe or bypass security, scrape protected information, interfere with availability, or reverse engineer the Services except where law expressly permits.
Use customer or participant data for unrelated solicitation, sale, profiling, or another unauthorized purpose.
15. Suspension, closure, and account deletion
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, businesses, providers, or the Services; prevent fraud or abuse; address nonpayment; comply with law or provider requirements; or enforce these Terms.
You may request account deletion through the app or our public Account Deletion and Privacy Choices page. Final deletion or business closure may require resolution of future bookings, refunds, disputes, gift-card obligations, staff access, payouts, provider accounts, or legally required records. Historical transaction and audit records may be retained, restricted, or deidentified as permitted or required by law.
16. Third-party services
The Services may integrate with Stripe, Apple, Google, communications providers, mapping providers, authentication providers, and other third parties. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, provider outages, payment-network decisions, store-account restrictions, or external content.
17. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Quelboo disclaims warranties and conditions, express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
Quelboo does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, licensing, suitability, outcome, punctuality, or availability of a service provided by a participating business, or that a particular customer, staff member, participant, business, payment, or booking will be accepted.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so these exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QUELVARO, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, opportunities, goodwill, or data; business interruption; personal-service outcomes; or the cost of substitute services arising from or relating to the Services or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quelvaro's aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or (b) the amount you paid directly to Quelvaro for the affected Quelboo platform product during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Payments made to participating businesses for their services are not amounts paid directly to Quelvaro for this purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QUELVARO, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services, material violation of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or—when you operate a participating business—the services, staff, content, policies, transactions, or legal obligations of that business.
20. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent federal law applies. Subject to non-waivable rights, disputes arising from or relating to the Services or these Terms must be brought in the state courts located in Baltimore County, Maryland, or the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, as applicable. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
21. General terms
If a provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
These Terms, the Privacy Notice, and any transaction-specific policies or campaign terms presented through the Services constitute the applicable agreement regarding your use of Quelboo. Transaction-specific terms control only to the extent they expressly address that transaction and conflict with these general Terms.
